Event in Review: Mystery Drama Workshop with Laurie Portocarrero!

In case you missed it, here is our event in review! We are grateful to have experienced this wonderful weekend with the talented Laurie Portocarrero!

Rich Lumma attended the 3 days of the workshop.  He shared:

"The Mystery Dramas workshop by Laurie Portocarrero was a deep and unique experience in advancing my understanding of the complex interrelationships between individualities as they struggle with their karmic interrelations with one another, and especially in and from one incarnation to another."

Natalie Shiras was able to attend just the Sunday workshop and wrote:

"I was so glad to be with you yesterday. Laurie Portocarrero is a brilliant teacher because she is grounded in her body and soul. Though I was only there one day, I benefited from the whole day. The movement exercises in the beginning were most helpful to get me ready for the reading of the “Soul’s Probation”. Laurie invited us to act out the parts as if we were that part, which made the mystery drama become integrated into my body and soul. Thinking, feeling, and willing, became inseparable as Laurie encouraged us to speak the lines in a way to emphasize the characteristics of Ahriman and Lucifer, Maria and Johannes, and the spirit beings. Laurie also asked us questions to articulate what we were experiencing. That brought the experience more to consciousness and elicited more questions. It was a workshop that deepened understanding and growth. 

Thank you for organizing and coordinating this most marvelous day. Yes, please put me on the mailing list for mystery dramas and other performances."

"I’m so grateful for all these days with Laurie Portocarrero. What a gift to have her with us!  Helping us to really know and “live” these characters, even to see how their experiences give us valuable life lessons to understand and use.  Already we’re looking forward to Rudolf Steiner’s Mystery Drama 3 with her in November for another lively and heartwarming experience, and to enjoying all the other workshop participants in camaraderie, too!"
